Brad has been around firearms for a majority of his life. After being introduced to target shooting at a young age he was hooked. This progressed to Hunting, Gun Building, Defensive Rifle and Pistol Training, and most recently has he become very active in Competitive Shooting with a very deep passion for 3 gun. Prior to joining the Jackson Guns & Ammo family he was the Co-Founder and Gun Builder at an AR specialty shop.

With a true love for Firearms Education, he is an NRA certified instructor and often teams up with local Firearms Trainers and Gun Clubs to offer free educational seminars on the AR-15 platform. From the basics of the platform, and NY Compliance laws to full on custom builds for Defensive Training or 3 Gun use. It is his main personal focus to seek out new training and new parts to test and evaluate before he recommends them to customers. If he has not tested it he will not recommend it. He truly enjoys helping people complete the process of building a gun that is exactly what they desire.

If you have any questions for Brad he is in the store almost every Saturday, or is available by appointment on Weeknights. Brad is very active in the local shooting community, he shoots Defensive pistol on Tuesday nights and USPSA on Wednesday nights at the Genesee Conservation league. Ken Youngren (Public Relations Associate) (KenYoungren@jacksongunsandammo.com)

Ken comes to us with eight years of experience in Public Safety and Security and ten years experience in public relations. He holds a bachelors degree in Psychology from Alfred University, is also an EMT and interior attack certified firefighter. Ken currently works part-time as a Public Safety Officer for Alfred University and various armed security details when he is not in the shop.

Ken’s choice firearm is the Glock 23 .40cal.
